Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band 4 earlier this month with a color display and better sports recognition. The smart wearable impressed the Chinese audience so much that over 1 million units in the first eight days of its availability. The rest of the world is yet to see the device that will launch on June 26 and will be sold as Mi Smart Band 4 in Europe.
Xiaomi reported that there were over 5,000 shipments per hour at one point, making it the fastest-shipping wearable by the company ever. It now comes with a bigger OLED with a mightier resolution, 2.5D curved glass on top and more functions, but Xiaomi promises it will keep its 15-20 days battery life that is the biggest selling point of the wearable.
The base price of the Mi Band 4 is CNY169 (€21), while the NFC variant for wireless payments is CNY229 (€30). The Mi Stores in Spain and Italy will offer it for €35, which is still a hot deal, considering the improved features from the Mi Band 3 that arrived at €29 12 months ago.
